This afternoon was our first school dance. Students ate pizza, chips, candy, and drank a ton of sodas! They also danced, shot half court shots, played 4-square and just hung out with their friends! It's safe to say fun was had by all!!

Today in Mrs. Carter’s class, students stepped back in time to the Renaissance! They studied the beauty of Renaissance art and learned about the physical and emotional challenges Michelangelo faced while painting the Sistine Chapel. 🎨 To experience it for themselves, students became “little Michelangelos” — lying under their desks and coloring The Creation of Adam, one of the famous ceiling panels of the Sistine Chapel. What a fun and memorable way to bring history to life!

We are SO thankful for our PTO and the folks at Caribou Coffee and Chick-Fil-A for a yummy breakfast and coffee this morning!! #NorthLeads

In Mrs. Trivette's culinary class, students made a nutritious chicken soup! They loved enjoying the fruits of their labor, plus they get an easy to make recipe to take home and share with their families!

Come out and support the Wildcats!!!

What an amazing morning at See You at the Pole!

Day 2 of the Beginning teacher conference was amazing! Our teachers heard from several teachers and leaders at RCA and had the opportunity to build some relationships with students too! Plus they participated in a House rally led by students. We are excited to see some of the engaging practices learned at RCA in our beginning teachers classrooms!!

Join us on the fields next week!!!

Today our beginning teachers had the opportunity to do classroom observations at the Ron Clark Academy with their Beginning Teacher conference. We observed math, science, reading and art classes and had additional time to learn about engaging games to use in the classroom. They also became slide certified. #RCAEXP #NorthLEADS
